  1. Interesting that you choose to highlight the EU membership issue first. Scottish independence would have meant a surefire exit from the EU and a negotiation to get back in, probably quickly but on what terms? In contrast the UK, and we as part of it, are still in the EU and every person has a vote to have a say on whether to stay or leave, in full knowledge of the deal they will have by staying in. If they wish to gamble on leaving that is their democratic choice just as it was for the Scottish ind ref. The SNP lied about Scotland’s status in the EU, they didn’t have a clue what it was but pretended otherwise, the Conservatives were at least up front about their intentions to hold a referendum on EU memebership, what’s the problem? Have you gone off referendums or something? Do you only want democratic choice when it suits you? Were the SNP planning to hold a post independence vote on EU membership (I missed that page of ‘Scotland’s Future’ if they did).

    1. The original content is from Wings Over Scotland.
Scottish Independence would not have meant an exit from the Eu.
The SNP did not lie about our status in the EU.
The Conservatives have not been up front at all in any respect!
Yes I would like a democratic choice. I would like my country to be governed by the government it votes for, not one in another country.
      I hope that helps 🙂
